How to Unsend an Email in Outlook

Have you ever sent an email and then had second thoughts about it? Or maybe you just want to change a few things in the email before sending it out. In Outlook, there's a feature that allows you to recall emails within a 120-minute window before they are actually sent.  recall message outlook 365 It's called the "Recall Message" option. However, this feature doesn't work with Gmail because Google Apps Sync does not support it.

To recall a message in Gmail, you need to send another email that says that you wanted to recall the original email. This is not ideal because the recipient might open the original email before they receive the follow-up message from you.

If you use Gmail with Outlook and have read receipts enabled, your recipient will receive a response from you when they read the message you recalled. The read receipt won't be deleted though, and it will just say that you want to recall the message that you sent them. This will only work if both you and your recipient are in the same organization and use Microsoft Exchange (or Office 365).
